Please join us for our annual Shambhala Day Celebration.

Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the New Year and is one of our main community celebrations. Based on Losar, the traditional Tibetan New Year, the date is calculated astrologically to coincide with the lunar cycles.

The new year is an opportunity for fresh start and renewal, as well as a time to let go of unhelpful or harmful patterns. On this day we enjoy the richness of our spiritual and cultural heritage through practice, generosity, feasting and conviviality.

We’ll begin with chants and practice before listening to the traditional Shambhala Day address by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.

The celebration will continue with a festive lunch.

Please help us welcome the year of the Earth Dog.
